Abandoned Theme Park

1) I would take the camera with me and take some great pictures in the theme park called " Spreepark In Berlin, Germany." I would go to this park since it blends prehistoric animals such as: big dinosaurs and animals in Earth right now. Also they have battleships which is very impressive and create a setting of war between human beings and prehistoric animals.

2)

1. Space.
2. Dessert.
3. Sewer.
4. North or South Pole.
5. South America Andes.

4)

Funny Captions

This is the car of my brother and he has it park in his hook in the afternoon because he does not like to drive it since the gas is expensive for this catruck.

The background in the photo is obviously some type of plants and flowers around the catruck in the hook, my momma's house, the cables that have and give electricity to the house.

This is David Beckham a famous soccer player. He is really mad during the soccer game in the morning because he is seeing his woman kissing another dude.

The background is the people laughing about him, even his parents are laughing since everybody knew the woman was already cheating at him, he was the only one that did not know and realized during the soccer game.

This is my dog Tyron Josue. He is really happy because I am walking with him outside of my house in the evening. He is also excite since this is its first rap cloth.

the background is obviously me, you can clearly see my jordan shoes. Also my house and my family.

Great Black and White Photographers part 3

1) What first caught my eyes was the people's clothes that had in the photos. Something particular about  his photos is that it looked that he took these photos during an old time period.

2) I see people walking around the woman, people talking, families with their dogs, People selling food in a market, people buying food in the market, I see the mirror, I see the window. I see mosquitos around the couple, kids running behind them, flowers moving.

I smell the food that people are buying, I smell dogs, I smell the odor of people, I smell the woman dress. I smell the flowers, I smell the odor of flowers, I smell the cologne of the couple, I smell the man suit and the woman dress.

I hear dogs barking, I hear kids crying, I hear people screaming, I hear families talking, I hear kids running, I hear the woman talking to the dogs. I hear babies crying, I hear the couple talking, I hear the flowers moving.

I taste the food of the market, I taste beverages. I taste the flavor of the flowers.

I feel the dogs' skin, I felt the woman confusion in her face, I feel the woman dress, I feel the rocks, I feel the mirror, I feel the mirror. I felt the love between the couple, I feel the flowers, I feel the couple clothes, I feel the wall.

3) First, I would create posters so you can see all his photographies. Second, I would create a power point so I can explain his biography and how his photos impacted the world.

Academic Shoot reflection

There were a lot of challenges since this is my first taking pictures with these rules, although these rules helped me because I learned a little bit more how to take pictures with a better efficacy.

One specific technical aspect could be how I focused in the person or the people that I was taking the picture, so I can have the rule of simplicity perfectly.

I would definitely take better pictures since I have been learning the rules and understanding them more, so I could apply them in each picture that I would take.

What I would do the same is the way how I focused in the person or people in the picture for the accuracy of the photo.

The easiest rule to achieve for the next set of prompts could be the avoiding merges.

The hardest rule to capture could be balance.

I am not totally clear in the rule of thirds. What I do to figure out this rule is try to imagine horizontal and vertical lines on the person, animal or object.

Academic shoot photos

Simplicity

This picture is an example of simplicity. I followed the rule since it focused just in two people. The subject would be the students. I applied the rule well, although I could have asked them if they could see to the camera.
Lines

The picture above shows the rule of lines. I followed this rule because you clearly see the lines in the rails. The subject in this picture are the rails.

Rule of thirds

This photo shows the rule of thirds. I followed this rule because if you put horizontal and vertical lines on the guy with the black sweater you will see the intersection. The subject is the man with the black sweater. I think I did not follow the rule very well, I could have taken the picture from another position, so you can see how I applied the rule.
Framing

The photo above represents framing. I followed the rule because the girl is looking at the camera while she is in the frame of the door. The subject is the girl behind the door. I could follow the rule better if I had taken the photo closer.
Avoiding merges

This photo is avoiding merges. I followed the rule because I cut half body of the guy with the red sweater. The subject is the man that I cut in the picture with the red sweater.
Balance

This picture represents balance. I followed this rule since the three students make a triangle. The subject in the photo are the three students.

Africa and Mural Project review

1) I had a good reaction about the powerpoint since I was waiting some buildings or people. When I saw animals this makes me happy since I really like all kind of animals.

2)

3) The picture above was my favorite because I could see the relation or the love between the mother and her son. In this photo there are four tigers which I think two are babies and the other two are the parents.

4) The rules he used in this photo was the avoiding merges because he used the background to make it better.

a.     What kind of camera did he use?
Pentax 67II.

b.     What is his reason for taking the photos?
the reason he took these photos is because he loves the environment which includes animals, plants, etc.

c.     What is his hope by taking these types of photos?
He can take pictures of them before they are gone.

d.     Find something he has to say about Africa and post the quote on your blog
"You wouldn't take a portrait of a human being from a hundred feet away and expect to capture their spirit; you'd move in close.

1. What theme that we could take here at school could we do a series of these panels to place around the school?

A good theme could be sports.

2. Should we use phones only, or should we open it up to our regular cameras for those people that don't have camera phones?

I think should be open to the regular cameras since that would be more fair.

3. Where would you want to put the mural on campus?

In the entrance of the school or the AHA academic.

Academics and Community Services

The picture that I chose from Academics and Community Services are girls helping each other with an assignment.

1) I picked this photo because I like the way how the girls were working and helping each other as a group.
2) Some rules of photography could be the Simplicity and Avoiding Merges.

1) I could take pictures like the ones I looked today in the backyard, science classroom or the library.
2) My physics's classroom.
3) Take pictures from different places and try to apply the rules of photography in each of the photos.

Filling the frame

The frame is filled in this photo by two people doing some kind of work using light or illumination.

Action and Emotion

In this picture the action is how the water wetted everything, the emotion would be the reaction that the girls had about the water going everywhere.

The Story

The story in the picture above is that certain group of people are helping other people giving them free food. Those that are being helped probably do not have money or suffered any disaster.

Post shoot reflection

1) Some challenges that I encountered while trying to get the photos were the color of the objects, sometimes I did not like the photo but I needed for the project.

2) About the technical aspects I could not do so much since I did not know how to manage a camera. I just really try to take good pictures by focusing in the center of these.

3) I definitely would do better since I have learned the basic rules of photography. I could apply them while I am taking any picture.

4) I would still focus in the center of the person or object that I am taking the picture.

5) For the red was framing, the metal I got the rule of lines and for happy I got the rule of simplicity.

6) Yes, I am really interesting in taking the pictures again since I could apply these basic rules so my photos would be definitely much better.

9/11 composition shots

Simplicity

In the photo above the simplicity is shown since the photographer focused in the two ladies directly.

The rule of thirds

In this photo the rule of thirds is shown using the imaginary lines horizontal and vertical, you can see the fire and the shadow.

Lines

In this photo the verticals lines are clearly shown. These lines convey dynamic in the photo even though they are going downward.

Balance

The balance in this photo is determined through the people in the photo can make a triangle and that is a  characteristic that determined the balance in a photo.

Framing

In the photo above framing is clearly shown since it avoids merges. Also the road shows feeling of depth which makes the photo more interesting.

Avoiding Merges

So in this photo the photographer used the background to show why the lady is scared. Without the background we would not know why the lady is surprised.
